No vape experience is possible without the right vape coil and while many kits complete with coils fitted, you do need to change them regularly to ensure a premium vape every time. You cannot vape even the most basic e-cig without a vape coil in place and when you begin to build and modify your own kit it is essential to get a proper understanding of them.
Vape coils are the essential heating element for turning your vape juice into vapor. Without a coil you cannot create the vapor needed to enjoy your e-cig. Vape coils come in many shapes and sizes and are made of many different materials, each with its own beneficial properties. Each coil has a certain resistance level measured in ohms and vape coils with resistance of less than 1 ohm are specifically for sub ohm vaping.
Coils work by heating up your e-liquid and turning it into vapor so you can enjoy your e-cig. Coils are usually made up of a wick and coil bundle, responsible for vaporizing the e-juice and also some form of base housing which connects the coil to the power source. Vape coils usually feature a steam or fluted entrance which ensures liquid only goes where it should and finally, the seal or o ring helps stop the liquid leaking or flowing into the coil.
Many recognizable e-cigarette hardware brands produce their own vape coils. The coils are sometimes specifically designed for a brand’s own atomizers but there are some universal designs out there. You will find vape coils available from brands such as Aspire, KangerTech and Vaporin.
At The Electric Tobacconist® we ensure we always have a good supply of vape coils for you to choose from, ensuring you can always replace your coil when needed and never risk the quality of your vape or the lifespan of your atomizer.
